| Question or Task: | This form is from our current application. It was developed many years ago and now we are looking forward to change it. The question is: How to simplify this form, make it more user-friendly. P.S. Fields inside the first group are not needed any more (Number of biggest clients and etc.) |
Explanation / Comments: 1)You need to specify the place for buttons related to the table and to the form. I made it below the table and in the bottom of the form like in most of applications (it is the best variant for such simple forms)
2)If you have enough space for buttons try not to use just icons (as I understood the Excel Icon is some thing like an export). Try always to have a text on the buttons.
The icons can be used if you don’t have enough space or it is always clear what the icons do.
3)Always use “Save” buttons. It is a big mistake to have just Close.
4)Some relocation of fields will helps us
5)You can use additional buttons like “Reset Changes” and “Apply” for changes inside the group.
